Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 19, 2026
Thank you for using TimeChime ("the App"). We understand the importance of your personal information and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information.
1. Information We Collect
The App may collect the following types of information:
- Advertising-related information: The App integrates Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as Advertising ID), IP address, and app usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. See the Google Privacy Policy for details.
- Purchase information: The App offers in-app purchases through Google Play Billing. We do not collect your payment card information; all transactions are processed by Google Play. We only receive your purchase status (e.g., whether premium features have been unlocked).
- App usage data: We may collect anonymous app usage statistics (such as feature usage frequency and crash logs) through tools like Google Analytics for Firebase to improve the product experience.
- Information you provide: When you contact us via in-app feedback or email, we may receive your email address and any information you choose to provide.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the core features of the App (such as hourly chime and TTS voice announcements);
- To display ads and measure advertising performance;
- To process in-app purchases and verify premium feature unlock status;
- To analyze app performance, fix bugs, and optimize user experience;
- To respond to your inquiries and feedback.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We only share information with third parties in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: We share necessary information with Google (AdMob, Firebase, Google Play Billing) to provide advertising, analytics, and payment services. These third parties are bound by their own privacy policies.
- Legal requirements: When we believe it is necessary to comply with laws and regulations, respond to legal processes, or protect the rights of ourselves and others.
4. Data Storage and Security
Most of the App's settings data (such as chime times and volume preferences) is stored locally on your device. We process limited data through compliant platforms such as Google Play services and Firebase, and take reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, please note that no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure.
5. Your Rights
- Reset advertising identifier: You can reset or disable ad personalization in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- Delete data: Uninstalling the App will delete all app data stored locally.

6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we may have collected information from a child, please contact us using the information below.
7. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page, and for material changes, we will notify you through in-app notifications or other means.
